GreenSeeker Sensor Contamination, Spring 2003

The GreenSeeker sensor was sprayed with UAN and soil was dusted onto the bottom surface of the sensor, both moderately, and heavy (top & bottom pictures, respectively).  As you can see from the graph above, moderate contamination did not affect NDVI values when compared to no contamination.  Under heavy contamination, NDVI values were higher, but followed the same trend.
