Experience:

August 1999 - Present: Senior Agriculturist, Department of Plant and Soil Sciences, Oklahoma State University.  Responsibilities: Design, implementation, and management of statewide soil fertility research experiments including wheat, alfalfa, cotton, sorghum, peanuts, soybeans, bluestem, bermudagrass, corn, and water quality. Duties include: planting, tillage, fertilization, pest control, and harvest of all crops, data management, statistical analysis and evaluation of data, laboratory analysis, preparation of articles for publication in professional journals, coordinating activities for a large staff of project assistants and graduate students, equipment and shop supervision.

 

July 1996 – August 1999: Graduate Research Assistant, Department of Agronomy, Oklahoma State University.  Responsibilities:  Research plot work including planting, cultivation, harvest, fertilizer and pesticide application using conventional and precision variable rate technology (VRT) equipment, sensor-based data collection, sample preparation, sample tracking and protocol, laboratory analysis, data management, equipment and shop maintenance, statistical analyses and coordination of hourly employees.
