The new variable N rate applicator currently being developed with NTech Industries in Ukiah, CA.  This applicator predicts yields for each 1m2 area and then fertilizes each 1m2 based on projected yields and a response index (likelihood of obtaining a response to added fertilizer).  This applicator is currently being field tested and will be commercially available in 4 months.
